Development is Child’s Play (DICP) is a clinician-owned multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center that has been serving the Southern San Francisco Bay area since 1991. With a highly skilled team of speech and language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists specializing in sensory integration, DICP is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families. The center focuses on assisting clients and their families in overcoming life’s challenges, particularly those related to sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, and motor coordination difficulties. These challenges can affect crucial aspects of daily living such as eating, playing, sleeping, dressing, toileting, and emotional responses, as well as speech, communication, learning, and social interactions. DICP offers services to a primary age range of 2-12 years but also provides special programs for infants and adults, emphasizing community involvement through reduced rate infant screenings.
