The problem we’re solving
After an autism diagnosis, families are often handed a stack of paperwork and a long to-do list — but no clear map of who can actually help. Information about ABA therapy, speech and occupational therapy, diagnostics, special-education schools, psychology, social-skills programs, and respite care is scattered across insurance directories, regional-center vendor lists, school districts, and word of mouth. Finding the right provider — one that’s nearby, takes your insurance, and fits your child — can take weeks of phone calls.
What we do
StarzMeet brings these services together in one place, organized by city and by need, with contact details, maps, hours, and (over time) reviews. Families can search and compare providers in minutes instead of days.
How our directory works
To make the directory useful from day one, we compile listings from publicly available business information and organize them by category and location. We publish business details only — never personal information about individuals or children. Providers can claim their listing to manage it themselves, correct any details, or request removal at any time. We also welcome direct submissions from providers who want to be included.
Our values
- Neurodiversity-affirming — we lead with respect for autistic people and their families, and we choose language and design with care.
- Free for families — searching StarzMeet is, and will remain, free for families.
- Trustworthy — we’re transparent about how listings are sourced, we don’t sell your data, and we make it easy for providers to correct their information.
- Local — we focus on Silicon Valley so our directory is genuinely useful for the communities we serve.
Where we cover
We currently focus on Silicon Valley — including San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Fremont, and Cupertino — and we’re expanding across the greater Bay Area.
Who we serve
Parents and caregivers of autistic children and adults, and autistic individuals themselves, seeking services and support in the region.
