Accessibility Statement

StarzMeet is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. Accessibility is central to our mission — many of the families and individuals we serve are neurodivergent or disabled — and we are continually working to improve the experience for everyone and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Our commitment

We want every visitor to be able to find and use the information on our Site, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time task.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels: A, AA, and AAA. StarzMeet aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We consider the Site to be partially conformant, which means some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard; we are actively working toward full conformance.

Measures we take

  • Clear, readable typography with sufficient color contrast in both light and dark contexts.
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Descriptive headings, labels, and link text to support screen readers.
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to a range of devices and zoom levels.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences where animation is used.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of the Site relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The Site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers and with assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. In particular:

  • Interactive maps provided by third parties may have limited accessibility; where possible, the same information (address, phone, website) is available as text on the listing.
  • Third-party and user-submitted content, including some images, may lack complete text alternatives.
  • Some older pages or components may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA.

Where content is not yet fully accessible, we will provide the information in an alternative format on request.
