Ability Connection, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 1953, is dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disabilities in Texas. Serving over 1,000 individuals, the organization focuses on those with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. With a mission to empower and support independence and autonomy, Ability Connection provides a variety of services that cater to both adults and youth. The organization’s approach is comprehensive, involving family support, professional staff, and a network of volunteers who all contribute to the personal and social development of its members. Through its residential services and in-home programs, Ability Connection offers tailored assistance, ensuring each person receives the support needed to thrive.
