Aspire Advocacy specializes in helping parents navigate the complexities of special education IEPs and 504 plans, ensuring children receive the individualized services they are entitled to under federal law. Founded by Leigh Monichon, a mother of a child with multiple disabilities, and Taylor Kohn, a former District manager and teacher of children with disabilities, Aspire Advocacy brings a personal and professional touch to the advocacy process. They understand the tactics school districts may use to complicate the IEP process and are equipped to counteract these to protect a child’s right to a free and appropriate public education. Their services are designed to empower parents, equalize the playing field with school districts, and expedite the crafting of effective IEPs that cater specifically to the needs of the student.
