The Bay Ridge Aquatics Institute (BRAINS) offers swimming lessons and programs for children ages 5 to 12, including a competitive swim team called the Harbor Seals. They provide learn-to-swim classes during the school year, although spots are limited and often filled by returning students. The organization focuses on swim-centered educational programs and aims to serve the local community, reaching over five hundred participants annually.
